Photograph shooting permission
For the purpose of shooting photographs inside museums and archaeological sites, that do not require the use of the public domain, and for the production of publishing or advertising projects, authorisation must be obtained from the Sovrintendenza Capitolina subject to payment of a charge as set out in the annual resolution on the tariffs of services in demand by Roma Capitale.
The authorisation is personal, is valid for the current year and is issued only after the authorisation has been obtained from the Museum and/or Archaeological Area Manager
To apply for the authorisation it is necessary to fill in the form on the page Authorisation to take photographs inside Museums and Archaeological Areas, which contains all the information needed to assess the application and verify its compatibility with the requirements of protection of the cultural asset.
The application must be submitted at least 30 days before the photo shoot by certified e-mail to protocollo.sovrintendenza@pec.comune.roma.it or by post to the Ufficio Protocollo della Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali in Piazza Lovatelli 35 - 00186 Roma.
