Linda Christian and Tyrone Power got married in Rome in 1949 under the eyes of the international press. In 1950 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer chose Cinecittà to shoot Quo Vadis. The Cafe Society was born with rituals, people and characters that Fellini chose to represent in La Dolce Vita: charm, beauty, stardom, celebrity and gossip become part of daily life.

.On display are 100 photos selected from the archive of the Instituto Luce and 100 magazines of the 50s, a story in images with the faces and the characters have shaped the imagination of the Italians.
Rome is the natural set of the Doce Vita, but Italy it is also infected by it. The exhibition held at Trajan’s Markets aims to show the celebrities of the in their mundane life with a selection of some of the photographs that have contributed to their myth and to the collective imagery of an era.
