Mercati di Traiano - Museo dei Fori Imperiali: Visitors prize the exhbition “Keys to Rome: The City of Augustus”, available a new version of the digital catalog of the Augustan exhibition

Visitors prize “Keys to Rome: The City of Augustus,” an exhibition promoted by Roma Capitale, the Department of Culture, Creativity, and Artistic Promotion of the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali and by the Istituto per le Tecnologie Applicate ai Beni Culturali (ITABC) of the CNR.

The increased numbers of entrances—both paid and free—during the months of September and October in 2014 in comparison to the same months in 2013 demonstrate the success of the current exhibition on Augustus in addition to the reopening of the restored Great Hemicycle.

The popularity of the exhibition along with the public’s response prompted us to create a new version of the digital catalog of the Augustan exhibition in both Italian and English (due to the high number of foreign visitors), which now includes five evocative films that introduce the city of Rome in the Augustan age.

The new pendrives will be offered to the public at the same price of 7 euro; those who have already purchased the electronic catalog can have it updated with the additional material by contacting the staff of the Museo dei Fori Imperiali   (info@mercatiditraiano.it).

Vi aspettiamo numerosi per continuare il racconto su Roma, l’Impero, la sua Storia!
